After pickup from your hotel, the airport or the station, board your ship in time for lunch. See the engineering marvel that is Aswan High Dam, then ride a boat to tranquil Philae Temple, returning to your cruise for dinner and a folklore show. Day two starts early so you can beat the heat at the Abu Simbel Temples: You’re back on board in time for lunch. Sail to Kom Ombo and tour the temple with your guide. After dinner on board, overnight in Edfu. After breakfast on day three, board a horse and carriage and trot along the Nile to the majestic Temple of Horus. Watch timeless scenes glide by as you cruise to Luxor, with lunch and afternoon tea on board. See the vast Luxor Temple and possibly Karnak too before dinner and a belly dance show. It’s another early start on day four, but the sunrise views from your hot-air balloon more than justify it.
